Colour Us Brilliant for String Quartet and Spoken Text

The objective for this piece is to bring encouragement to those who struggle. It is to communicate a message that these ones are not alone in their despair, and an injunction to us all to be gentle with ourselves at such times. I have gathered text from various poets who beautifully articulate these sentiments. The music I composed is intended to support and enhance this.
